The Zurich Classic of New Orleans

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the PGA Tour’s only team event.  The game of golf, when played as a team sport, takes on a unique identity that equally challenges the individual and the team.

In January 2020, Traube and the Fore!Kids Foundation (the Zurich Classic’s organizer) signed a multi-year contract for Traube to provide all temporary structures and tents for the tournaments.  The agreement required Traube to provide upwards of 100,000 sqft of structures and tents for the tournament.  Included in the scope were the need for glass wall systems, hard wall systems, glass doors, liners and lighting.   

At the conclusion of the 2021 Zurich Classic Fore!Kids Foundation CEO, Steve Worthy, remarked “With our event known for its team format, we were thrilled to have Traube become part of our event team.  They were a key element of our planning process, showed tremendous attention to detail, provided first-class equipment and stayed on schedule despite some weather challenges during set-up.  Their product received rave reviews from our clients and we look forward to our future together”.    

The 2021 Zurich Classic of New Orleans marked another significant milestone in Traube’s storied 83-year history, led by Traube’s Professional Sports- the company’s newest division. McWilliams excitedly remarked “Traube’s Pro Sports division has just taken another major step forward as “one of the” the country’s premier providers for the Professional Sports market.  Team Traube seized the moment and exceeded expectations.”
